Oh, hello! Are you here to join our army here at toran_castle? Wonderful! We could definitely use all of the help that we can get. My name is Estellise, and I hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions and brief you in on what to expect here in the Castle.

Before we begin, though, here are a few things I have been asked to remind you of.

Please view the Guidelines and FAQ.

Please remember The Prime Directive. The Prime Directive is: Be excellent to each other.

Also, your player must be at least 18 years old.

And finally, the following types of characters are not allowed:
*Original characters
*Alternative Universe characters
*Real life people, unless they are historical figures in a highly fictionalized context
*Duplicates of characters currently in play
*Characters who appear solely in a webcomic

Now that that's taken care of, do you have any preliminary questions for me? I'll do my best to answer whatever you ask of me.

[ Tiny child.

Tiny cute child.

Estelle has to wonder why the Castle would want to bring such a tiny child here ... but, she couldn't deny, she had seen some amazing strength come from children before. Still ... this girl was even younger than Karol, from the looks of her.

Estelle smiled and leaned forward a little in her own seat, smiling sheepishly and shaking her head. ]

O-Oh, no, it's not my castle ... the one I was raised in is back home, in Zaphias. I can tell you a little about Toran Castle, though.

It's rather big. There are still many things I'm finding out about the castle myself, and I've been here for a while ... though I've seen just about all of the major rooms, this castle seems to sometimes expand and add new things whenever it feels like it needs to.

[Eiko might look a bit young to be around these parts, especially during a war of all things, but that hardly bothers her. She has the strength to make up for her tiny size!]

It's not?

[Still, this lady mentioned being raised in one... did that make her a princess like Dagger too? Who knows.]

... Well, okay. But if that's where we're going to stay, then you have to show me around, okay? I wanna have a look around!

[ She giggles a little at that. Such tall demands for such a short girl! Estelle nods and watches her intently. ]

I'll show you, I promise! But first, we need to talk a little bit about it. Could we do that?

[ Oh, she doesn't have the girl's name. ]

May I ask your name?

[The eagerness reflected in Eiko's face before is now slightly muted when Estelle stops her. ... Oh yeah, names. Totally forgot about that.]

My name? ... Oh, I totally forgot! I'm Eiko, from Madain Sari.

[Eiko leans forward, eyeing Estelle with an intent look.]

Okay, I told you my name. So, what'd you wanna talk about?

[Don't think she won't hold you to that promise, Estelle! Because she's about ready to jump out of her seat and impatiently drag Estelle in search of things. Namely, dinner. Ever since she landed in this weird world, she's barely had anything good to eat...!]

[ They'll have to fix that, for sure. But for now they had things to talk about. ]

It's very nice to meet you, Eiko. Being brought to this place is very serious, and I need to you know some of the things you might see here.

[ She pauses for a moment. ]

Do you have any combat experience?

[ Estelle couldn't help but feel strange, asking this question to a child as young as Eiko. ]

Yeah, okay.

[With a pondering look, Eiko glances downward. She sort of expected this, honestly.]

I have fighting experience. But I'm not much of a physical fighter -- that's Zidane's thing. Now, my specialty? It's magic, and summoning. I know healing magic, and I can speak with Eidolons. [There's a brief, pointed pause.] I'm sure that's gotta be of some help to you guys!

[That's gotta be worth something. Of course, that might not be the same thing as having actual combat experience. And there's the issue of whether or not she can still hear the Eidolons' voices here...!]

Eidolons? What are Eidolons?

[ Were they anything like the Entelexeia, or the Spirts? Were they monsters? Pets? None of them were here in this place, so she wasn't sure whether or not these 'Eidolons' would be here, too. ]

[For a moment, Eiko gives her a mild dumbfounded look. They didn't have Eidolons here either? ... Then again, it's not surprising. This world was so much different from Gaia in many ways, with hardly any familiar sights or faces availiable for comfort.]

... I guess you wouldn't know. [Almost immediately Eiko's tone perks up, hands on hips!] Okay, I'll explain it for you! They're beasts that we summoners are able to call forth, and who aid us during times of great need.

[Hee hee... "great need." Eiko mentally pats herself on the back for that one; she's actually managing to sound sorta important-ish here! She points to her horn.]

See this horn? This is how we communicate with them. [Briefly, she pauses.] Well? Does any of that make sense so far?

[ Tact, Estelle. She smiles sheepishly, then stands up, holding a hand out to the little girl. ]

Tell me more about these Eidolons? We can take a tour of the castle while we talk.
